Imabli
Flower . Blossom

The name Imbali comes from the Zulu language and it means flower and also to blossom.
This website is dedicated to the many women I have come accross throughout my life. Women that have impacted me personally, inspired me and those I have had the previlege to witness blossom into beautiful flowers as I have c
reated spaces for them to be. As I work to create a sustainable environment for displaced women, I have watched them grow from a place where they walked with their heads bowed down in shame, to a place where they walk with their heads held high with a new sense of value, dignity, purpose and courage.

Imbali, a young African girl that inspired me, is one of the flowers in my bouquet of life and I am grateful I could add her to it, she is one of the many threads that decorate the tapestry of my life.

How you can Help

Cecilia is the founder of Creative Hands. A non profit organization which focuses on giving displaced women the opportunity for employment and to create their own livelihoods. They achieve this through training and production, specifically in the weaving of textiles and sewing of goods for purchase.

Women arriving from Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, and several countries in Africa have a common rich history and culture in weaving and sewing. Through reviving this craft, their cultures are united, while giving them a versatile skill-set to empower them to live sustainably!

Please cover Cecilia in prayer as the Lord leads her down exciting new paths.

If you would like to support Cecilia, please consider making a donation.

Support our cause by choosing one of our lovely handmade creations.
