Weaving Friendship

When I was thinking of what my blog posts will be focusing on this season, I wanted to share something about two Greek friends of mine, Apostolia and Korina, for a number of reasons which I will share in other posts. But this one is dedicated to them as I look at their courage, faith and perseverance as they step into a new season of their lives. They are my friends that I have known now for a few years.

Imbali is officially one year old today.
A year of stepping forward in faith, even when the path looked impossible. A year of watching God open seas and dry up rivers in front of me — just as He did for the children of Israel.

As we celebrate this milestone, I’m sharing a personal reflection on the journey, the miracles, the fears, the prayers, and the countless people who have walked through Imbali’s doors with encouragement, curiosity, and kindness.

Σήμερα η Imbali κλείνει επίσημα έναν χρόνο ζωής.
Έναν χρόνο που περπάτησα με πίστη, ακόμη κι όταν ο δρόμος μπροστά μου έμοιαζε αδύνατος. Έναν χρόνο που είδα τον Θεό να ανοίγει θάλασσες και να στερεύει ποτάμια — όπως έκανε και για τα παιδιά του Ισραήλ.
