Μερικές φορές, οι πιο δύσκολες εποχές της ζωής μάς οδηγούν πίσω στους ανθρώπους, στον τόπο και στις αναμνήσεις που μας έχουν διαμορφώσει.

Behind every woven piece at Imbali is a story. 💚

For over two decades, Cecilia Sakatira has worked alongside women and vulnerable communities across Africa, Central Asia, South America, North America, and now Greece—believing that creativity has the power to restore dignity, build confidence, and create opportunity.

Imbali was born from that journey.

The name Imbali, meaning "flower" or "to blossom" in the Zulu language, reflects Cecilia's desire to create a space where people can slow down, learn, create, and flourish.

Today, Imbali is much more than a weaving studio. It is a place where traditional craftsmanship is preserved, friendships are formed, stories are shared, and every handmade creation carries meaning.

Whether she's teaching a child to weave, encouraging a woman to discover her creativity, or welcoming visitors into the studio, Cecilia believes that every thread has a purpose—and every person has a story worth weaving.
